Family

Tim and Alison surrendered to full-time ministry in 1991 during a Missions Conference at Tulsa Baptist Temple in Tulsa, OK.  That fall, they moved their family to Springfield, MO to enroll in the missions program of Baptist Bible College.  In 1995, Tim earned a bachelor's degree in Missions.  Alison, who had already received an English Education degree from Bob Jones University, added a Certificate of Concentrated Missions from BBC.  Following graduation, the Stephens moved to Lufkin, TX where Tim served a two year internship under Bro. Walter Futch, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church.  It was during this internship that the Lord began to touch their hearts with the need for the gospel in Cambodia.  In 1997, the Stephens were approved to open the field of Cambodia for the BBFI.  They arrived in Cambodia in October of 1998.

God has blessed them with four children.  The Stephens family works together serving the Lord in Cambodia.
